Awaking Wonder Unit: Joy Bringers

This month, we're going to be reading books about children who bring joy to others and the parents or guardians who loved them. As the parent, pay particular attention to the ways the characters were loved and shaped in their early lives and how it made a difference as they grew up. In our reading for mamas, we suggest a book to explore how the literature we expose our children to can help mold their character and a novel about a mother who holds to her ideals and convictions despite many obstacles. We hope these books will inspire your children to show love to those around them and will open their eyes to the many ways they can be joy bringers just where they are.
