Awaking Wonder Unit: Courage

This month we're going to learn about some courageous figures who lived during the War of 1812. Our focus will be on Dolley Madison and Francis Scott Key, but if your children want to learn more, research Andrew Jackson and the Battle of New Orleans, too. If you live nearby or ever get a chance, I highly recommend visiting Fort McHenry. When we face times of uncertainty, let's pray first and ask God for strength. Teaching children about who God is and building your home on a foundation of Biblical truth prepares your family to face future trials with courage and hope.
