Welcome to my home!
I’m so glad you’ve decided to spend some time with me. If this were a normal year, we would be meeting with many of you at conference hotels in CO, TX, and CA about now. But this is 2020! Still, rather than complain about the clouds, I decided to reclaim some light. How? By inviting you into my home for some video visits and to talk about my new book, Awaking Wonder. I know it won’t be the same as a hotel getaway, but I hope you’re able to gather safely with some friends, put on the tea and coffee, heat up some tasty pastries, and just enjoy our time together. It didn’t seem like a remote conference, but rather more like a gathering, so we called this event Awaking Wonder at Home Together. And it seems right to me to call this time a Togethering. Take the visits at your own pace, talk about them, and just enjoy the laughter, love, and light of being together, whether it’s with your friends, or just with me. And now that we know how, let’s do more Togetherings!

In these challenging and life-changing days of isolation, separation, and virtualization, it was important for me to do something for you, and to try to encourage times together—“Togetherings”— in my home and yours. Even while we need to stay safe, we also need to stay connected. I hope I’ve connected with you even just a little through these videos, and that you’ve connected with others. It’s always on my heart to encourage more fellowship among moms.
